exhibition design, set design
At the VRHAM! Festival 2022, the works revolve around the element of water and are entitled "ULTRAMARIN - An Immersive Exhibition". A selection of immersive artworks that deal with water in different ways: Whether with virtual or augmented technology, mixed media or projection mapping.
The exhibition is designed as a travelling exhibition and has already been shown at the Stanislavsky Electrotheatre in Moscow in 2021 and will travel in parts to Venice and Miami in the course of 2022.
At the beginning of the exhibition, a large-format projection creates an immersive spatial atmosphere. This is followed by the defining spatial design elements consisting of hanging cylinders made of a blue translucent fabric, which are reminiscent of jellyfish in the sea in the deep blue illuminated space. In addition to their artistic setting, the cylinders also serve as a boundary for the VR works.
The exhibition architecture is adapted to the floor plans in the various venues according to the spatial conditions and changing works and supplemented with further spatial elements as required. The VRHAM! Festival can already utilise a stored inventory and in many places also uses the large inventory of the Hanseatische Materialverwaltung opposite.
For the XR History Award, initiated jointly with the Körber Foundation, an area is being designed that stands out both spatially and atmospherically.
