In March 2017, in cooperation with the City and Maritime Museum Kiel, the light installation VERGEGENWÄRTIGEN (translation: bringing to mind) will be realised in the context of the new exhibition on collecting and remembering the Nazi past within the museum inventory.
At five historically important locations in Kiel, passers-by walking through the city at sunset will come across illuminated typographies projected onto the ground with dates from the year of the National Socialist seizure of power in 1933. The dates convey how quickly and comprehensively the Nazi regime permeated the entire city with its ideology and propaganda.the typographies will light up daily from 5 pm in March.
