ROLL’ RUM
During the ROLL' RUM intervention, a rolled turf unrolls through the sealed urban architecture and appears for a few moments in multiple locations in Hamburg's city centre. The installation creates moments of irritation among passers-by and lets to discussions about the lack of green space. Some settle down for a moment of peace and quiet, while others continue unperturbed on their everyday paths.
ROLL' RUM serves as a short creative project in the midst of the global crisis - a moment of trial and error. For this purpose, turf that has previously been used for a set design is temporarily repurposed before being planted in the garden of the Hanseatische Materialverwaltung.
