exhibition design
A participatory postcard element was designed and implemented for the city of Kiel and the former naval remand center as part of the initial activation of the building. The building was opened to the public for the first time on May 10, 2025 on the Day of Urban Development.
Under the motto “From prison to a place for everyone”, the city of Kiel wants to develop new utilization perspectives for the building. Together with the urban community, an open, discursive and experimental process is to be initiated in order to make the MUG a lively place for everyone in the coming years.
Elements of the POLYCHROME project were reused for the module and the 3D printed connection system from MOKIT was used.
